Remanufactured crankshaft for 1985-1994 Subaru Loyale, XT w/ EA82 engine from Topline CS-SU-8-10-10

This is one remanufactured crankshaft from Topline Automotive Engineering.  It is compatible with 1985-1994 Subaru 1800 models equipped with a 1781cc 108.6cid EA82 engine.  It has been professionally machined and balanced by Topline Automotive Engineering.  Please refer to the vehicle compatibility information below to see if this part is correct for your application.  We have measured the main bearings  at 54.70 mm and the rod bearings have been measured at 44.74 mm.  This crankshaft does not come with bearing or rod bearing shells.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES

This is a precisely machined and balanced part, and is not a simple drop-in plug and play component.  Precise measurement of the diameter of each rod and main bearing suface is critical to the proper operation of the completed engine.  Please bear this in mind when considering the following guidance:

1. This part is coated with a paraffin based wax to inhibit rusting during storage. This wax must be removed prior to assembly using an appropriate solvent and non abrasive pad (such as a Scotchbrite pad).
2. Since this crankshaft has been in long term storage, some light surface rust may be present on the main or rod bearing races.  If present, it can be removed with a Scotchbrite pad without damaging the bearing race.
3. The measurements referred to in this listing were taken by hand with a digital micrometer, and are provided to give an approximate estimate of the diameter of the bearing surface. 
4. Prior to ordering new bearing shells (if not supplied with the part), we strongly recommend removing the rust inhibiting wax, then re-measuring with a precise micrometer and prior to ordering the proper bearing shells to fit the rod and main bearings.
