This is a brand new idle stop solenoid for select AMC, Chrysler, Dodge and Ford cars including Charger, Challenger, Mustang, F-100, F150 and others.  Also known as an anti-dieseling solenoid, this part prevents dieseling or run-on in vehicles with carburetors, and provides and adjustable stop to correctly set engine idle speed.  Please check the vehicle compatibility information and visually check the picture of the part against the part you are replacing in order to determine if this part is correct for your application.  This is a brand new part; it has never been installed on a vehicle.
