New carburetor dashpot for 1983-1987 Ford Bronco, E-series vans and F-series trucks E3PZ-9503-A
This is one brand new carburetor dashpot from Ford. This part is also sold under the Motorcraft part number CM-4215. A carburetor dashpot acts as a damper, preventing the throttle from closing too quickly when the driver lifts off the accelerator pedal, thus preventing the engine from entering an over-rich mixture. It provides for smoother motion of the throttle and can help stabilize the idle. This part is correct for the applications listed in the compatibility chart. This is a brand new part, it has never been installed on a vehicle.
