This is one brand new genuine USA-made Rochester E2SE closed loop carburetor.  It is correct for 1981 Jeep CJ5, CJ7 and Scrambler, 1982-1983 AMC and 1981 GM models that were equipped with a 2.5L 151cid GM "Iron Duke" engine and air conditioning.  This carburetor is California emissions compliant.  Please refer to the compatibility chart to see if this carburetor is correct for your application.  This is a brand new part; it has never been installed on a vehicle.  This is not a reproduction or copy or remanufactured part. This part is not individually packaged for retail sale.  No branded packaging is included.  Gaskets are available, sold separately.

 

 Important Note: This carburetor is not correct for 2.8L or 4.1L applications, and will not work for them.  This carburetor will only work on the GM developed 151cid 2.5L "Iron Duke" 4 cylinder engine.

 

Installation Note

Please make sure you drain and flush the entire fueling system, from tank to carburetor, and replace the fuel filter before attempting to install this part.  Contaminated (old) fuel will quickly destroy fuel system components including this one and will void the warranty.
