Shipping policy

Shipping Partners

All items sold on this site and shipped within the United States are shipped via our shipping partners: United States Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS), FedEx, or surface freight.  In the case of package shipments (everything except freight) buyers will be provided with a tracking number.  Items will be insured up to the price of the item excluding shipping.

Items sold on this site and shipped outside the United States will be shipped using an international package shipping partner such as eBay International Shipping (EIS), UPS Worldwide, FedEx, DHL or similar partners.  We will provide you with such tracking information as is provided by the internal package shipping partner. 

Freight Shipments

Freight shipments will require a custom shipping quote if we are arranging the freight, and this may add up to 3 working days to the transaction.  If you prefer, you may arrange your own freight shipment, in which case we can load your item on to a truck (we have a forklift).  Our responsibility when working with your freight carrier ends once we have loaded your purchase and signed the bill of lading.  

Handling Time

For orders completed before 10:00AM US Central Time on a business day we normally ship same day.  Exceptions to this include circumstances that prevent our doing so, such as extreme weather or disruptions to our shipping partner's logistics that are beyond our control.   For the purposes of this policy, "business day" means Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM US Central time, excluding US national holidays.

Shipping Costs - Package (non-Freight)

Package shipping costs are paid by us ("Free Shipping") to the lower 48 United States.  Shipping costs for Alaska, Hawaii, and international locations are determined by our shipping partners, and vary depending on the size and weight of the package and where it is going.   Shipping costs for any particular order are calculated during the checkout process and presented to the buyer prior to payment being collected.

Shipping Costs - Freight 

Due to the size or weight of some items, they cannot be shipped via a package carrier and must be shipped surface freight.   For items requiring freight shipment we ask that you contact us at customerservice@aaaaautomotive.com to arrange for a freight quote.  Freight items will be invoiced to buyers once freight costs have been established.  Payment of that invoice will trigger us to engage our LTL freight partners to arrange pickup of the part from us and delivery to the buyer.  In the event that the buyer's preference is to arrange their own freight shipment please contact us at customerservice@aaaaautomotive.com schedule pickup from our loading dock.
