Make sure you drain and flush the entire fueling system, from tank to carburetor, and replace the fuel filter before attempting to install this part. Contaminated (old) fuel will quickly destroy fuel system components including this one.

I searched for three weeks for a replacement fuel pump or rebuild kit for my 1968 Mercruiser 120 I/O. No one had the Mercruiser part number in stock, or any recommendations on where to go. The Mercruiser service desk gave me the AC part number and another part number and a part number of ECN 6790. He wasn't sure what the ECN number was about. With this information in hand, the internet sent me to AAAA. I ordered the pump, it was delivered on time, and installed just like the AC original. The engine fired up nicely, and I now have one 45 minute shakedown run on it. I am extremely pleased with my interaction with AAAA and the apparent quality of the pump.
