This is one brand new idle stop solenoid for 1983-1987 Dodge Chrysler and Plymouth cars equipped with a 1.6L, 1.7L or 2.2L 4 cylinder engine.  It replaces Mopar part numbers 4342796, 4342794 and 4242798.  Also known as an anti-dieseling solenoid, this part prevents dieseling or run-on in vehicles with carburetors, and provides an adjustable stop to correctly set engine idle speed.  It is correct for the applications listed in the compatibility chart.  This is a brand new part; it has never been installed on a vehicle.
