This is one vintage fuel pump.  This replaces ACDelco GM original equipment part numbers 6417211 and 6440601.  It is for 1968 Pontiac models equipped with either a.5.7L 350cid or 6.6L 400cid engine.  It is correct for the applications listed in the compatibility chart. 

 

This part came to us loose in a box with a number of other fuel system parts.  Based on our inspection we believe this to be a rebuilt part, since the rubber diaphragm does not appear to be perished and the pump body, while dusty, does not appear to be freshly removed from an engine.  That said, we would recommend a thorough inspection of this part prior to installation, and are listing the condition as "used" since the actual condition is unknown to us.

Make sure you drain and flush the entire fueling system, from tank to carburetor, and replace the fuel filter before attempting to install this part.  Contaminated (old) fuel will quickly destroy fuel system components including this one.
